The union public service commission is not known to most people. I just dont know why we people are not told about this in schools and colleges. All we are taught is about science and science. I do accept that the world is fast moving towards robotics but who is to manage the activities. Who is to take care of controlling the law, the day to day functioning. Most of the people who get into this services are rather old when they clear the exams. But what the service needs is young and energetic people. We all know the corporates that hire people Infosys, Wipro, CTS ,TCS and lots more. But it is really pathetic that most of us are not aware of the ways of getting into the lifeline of Indian Administration. I would join hands with the people to revolutionize India. There are enough policy formulaters in India the problem is that we dont have men who have the backbone to implement them. And a few who really try it loose their power. I am not blaming the politicians I am blaming the system. The least we can do is get into the system and change it just like Faizal the last year topper in Civil service examination ( a Kashmiri) has thought of doing. We will discus lots more on this.

The path to service

Generally people say that choosing a career in civil service is a path to glory. But the truth is that you have selected a service to serve the people. Even I was of the opinion that IAS , IPS and IFS is all about power but the truth is that you are the one people turn to at time of disaster and you have the utmost duty to guide them during such times. The perspective of the people towards the government officials have to change. they still act as if they are under a colonial power. The people should be made aware of their rights and duties. It is not to the official to search people an help but to guide those who have all the potential and are searching for the right direction. Being a part of the bureaucracy is a great feeling but you should be the ideal type that Herbert Simon had visualized. Bureaucracy has come under the scanner many a times, and Karl Max was of the opinion that bureaucracy is all evil. It has become deep rooted in the Indian Administration it cannot be thrown out completely but steps can be taken to change the view of the people towards it. I will be bringing to light the importance of the system and the ways of getting into the system. Though there may be different sites for the same, it is always a great feel when you have a piece of advice from your senior.So lets get started.
